Celebrating International Women's Day

Andrea Sanz’s journey to winemaking began with a career in politics, but a visit to La Aguilera changed everything. Drawn to the land, she traded policy for pruning shears, dedicating herself to cultivating 22 hectares of vineyards, with vines aged 70 to 110 years. Committed to organic farming, she honors Ribera del Duero’s heritage while championing sustainability, biodiversity, and women in agriculture.

This month, we are proud to present Vera Vides Tinto and Vera Vides Blanco specially created by Andrea, and it is through these wines that she captures the purity and character of the land, proving that tradition and innovation can thrive together.
